Matthew J. Keating retired as a Colonel, Military Police Corps in the US Army Reserve.  His final assignment was as an Emergency Preparedness Liaison Officer for the State of Delaware where he was an advisor to state officials in the request for and integration of federal military assets to support response to disasters in the state.  Noteworthy assignments included the 2009 Presidential Inauguration and the 2009 G-45 Summit.

In his civilian career he is a financial analyst and accountant for a major aerospace manufacturer in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. He attended the Pennsylvania State University where he majored in Accounting. Additionally, he has a masters degree from Salve Regina University, Newport, RI in International Relations and another masters degree from the US Army War College in Carlisle, PA.  He is currently a Masters Candidate in Organizational Dynamics in the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences at the University of Pennsylvania.
